Software Engineers - C++ and C#

This position is located in Scottsdale, AZ

eInstruction is currently seeking several talented Software Engineers (C# and C++) in our growing Scottsdale office. This position will be responsible for developing code as part of a team for new releases of the current and next generation of applications. This role will assist in the architecture, design, planning and implementation for future versions of the company’s products. This role will also be responsible for providing development support for the current web and client production applications.

Primary Duties

This position will be responsible for developing code as part of a team for new releases of the current and next generation of applications. This role will assist in the architecture, design, planning and implementation for future versions of the company’s products. This role will also be responsible for providing development support for the current web and client production applications.

Responsibilities

• Architecture - Will assist in the architecture and design of current and future enhancements to the existing product range.
• Development - Will be an active member of the development team, responsible for developing new functionality for the existing product range. This product range includes both web and CD products.
• Production Support - This position will be a key member of the team that provides development support for the current web, CD and internal applications.
• Internal Support - Will provide internal application support as needed.

Qualifications

• Working C# knowledge with at least 2 years of proven project experience.
• Exceptional knowledge of ADO.Net and ASP.Net, C#, SQLServer 2005. Experience in Cocoa knowledge is considered a plus.
• 4+ years of development experience with a software company.
• Enterprise Development experience considered a plus.
• Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to debug complex technical issues and environments
• Basic knowledge of Object Orientated design and development is essential. Knowledge of Microsoft.Net and SOA design patterns is considered a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to use functional specifications in the development of a product.
• Experience in all phases of the software development life. Previous enterprise level software development is considered a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A BS in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent
