Product Managers

This position is located in Scottsdale, AZ

eInstruction is seeking Product Managers who will be responsible for the overall design, development and marketing effort of assigned products, coordinating the vision of product enhancements/new products, establishing a budget, and working with cross-functional groups to deliver completed products.

This position requires collaborative work with sales and marketing to meet the revenue and return on investment goals.

Responsibilities

• Be the company expert on the product/brand and markets
• Study the market to understand customer needs, the competitive landscape, and market forces, with the ultimate goal of uncovering opportunities for creating product enhancements and new productsv
• Monitor product performance in the marketplace to gain an understanding of customer needs, how the product is helping the customer, and where the product falls short of expectations
• Research contemporary issues and trends in relevant areas
• Leverage market research to prepare business cases for existing and new products, product strategies, and/or business requirements that define how best to capitalize on uncovered opportunities
• Work with management to develop product roadmaps and help craft a compelling long-term vision that complies with the company goals and strategy
• Work collaboratively with teams and individuals across the company to execute against the product roadmap and garner support for the strategy
• Manage product as it goes through its life cycle from ideation to launch to growth to maturity, and eventually to decline

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree minimum, MBA preferred, 5+ years experience in related fields of marketing, product management, educational technology sales or support
• Experience managing software products and systems
• Experience in the education market
• Understanding of academic standards and benchmarks
